Membership terms

1. Who can become a member? Any person who meets the conditions laid down by the statutes and who shares the purpose of the Association as defined in its statutes.

2. Membership application. The application is made online. All fields are mandatory (except the village of origin, which is optional), including a recent photo in which your face is clearly visible; it appears on your digital membership card. The information provided must be accurate and concern you.

3. Payment of the membership fee. The membership fee is paid online by card (or by bank transfer or cheque with the board). Its amount is set by the general meeting and displayed on the Site.

4. Approval by the board. Membership is final only after approval by the board. In the event of refusal, the membership fee is refunded in full and your data is deleted.

5. Duration and renewal. Membership is valid for 365 days from payment. Reminders are sent to you before and after the due date. Without renewal within 2 days of the due date, access to member features is suspended until payment.

6. Refund. Once membership has been approved, the membership fee is non-refundable, except for an error or a double payment.

7. Directory. As a member, you appear in the directory reserved for members whose fee is up to date, and you can contact the other members. Your photo is visible there to logged-in members unless you hide it from your profile; your village of origin is not displayed there. You may ask at any time not to appear in it, at [email protected]. The directory must never be used for commercial purposes or disclosed to third parties.

8. Member's commitments. To respect the statutes, the internal rules, the Terms of use and the other members.

9. End of membership. By resignation (a simple e-mail), non-renewal of the membership fee, or exclusion pronounced under the procedure laid down by the statutes.

10. Your data. Your data is processed by the Association to manage your membership, in accordance with the Privacy policy. You can access it, rectify it or request its deletion at [email protected].
